Dialog PTT is a complete, self-hosted push-to-talk platform built for field teams, dispatch operations, and enterprise deployments. Server, dispatch console, and Android app — all in one solution.
Multi-tenant cloud server — host multiple organisations, full data isolation, web management portal
Works on any Android device or radio — hardware PTT button support for 10+ vendors out of the box
Windows dispatch console — live map, channel tiles, incident management, remote device control
A self-hosted server that gives you complete control. Run it on a single VPS or scale out across multiple nodes. One server, multiple organisations — each completely isolated from the others.
Runs as a lightweight Docker stack on any Linux VPS. Nginx handles TLS, automatic backups run daily, and a health monitor auto-restarts failed services.
dialogPTT runs on the hardware your team already carries — dedicated radio handsets, rugged smartphones, or standard Android phones. If it has a PTT button, it works.
Compact UI mode automatically activates on small-screen radio handsets — a full-screen swipe layout with one channel per page, designed for the Hytera P60, Blackview BV-series, and similar devices.
Native PTT button integration for the most common professional radio vendors — plug in and it just works.
DialogDispatcher is a Windows application that gives your control room everything it needs — live map, channel tiles, incident management, and direct control over every device in the field.
A persistent device sidebar shows every registered radio — online, offline, battery level, signal quality, and which channel they're active on. All visible at a glance, even before anyone transmits.
Dialog PTT includes a full suite of safety tools that work together — not as bolt-on extras.
One press on the device triggers an immediate SOS with GPS coordinates. Dispatchers see a pulsing alarm on the map and in the alarm panel. Clears only when the dispatcher confirms.
The dispatcher starts a timer per device. If the worker doesn't transmit within the interval, an automatic man-down alert fires — no device action required.
Draw circle or polygon zones directly on the map. Get alerted the moment a device enters or exits a zone. Full event history stored with coordinates and timestamps.
Create P1–P4 incidents, assign field units, add timestamped notes, and track from Open through to Closed. Visible in both the portal and the dispatch console.
Block a specific device's PTT access remotely from the console. The device sees a clear "PTT BLOCKED" indicator. Restore with one click.
Define routes with checkpoints and time windows. The console monitors scan progress in real time and alerts when a checkpoint is overdue.
The capabilities that make Dialog PTT a complete enterprise solution rather than just a voice app.
Outbound HTTP calls on SOS, geofence alarms, device online/offline, guard tour events. Configurable per event type. Delivery history and retry included.
Push configuration changes or app updates to any device silently — no user interaction on managed devices. Job delivery tracked in the portal.
Unknown radio handset? Key Map Logging puts a device into catch-all mode, streaming every button press live to the dispatcher so unknown PTT buttons can be mapped.
Architecture is ready to bridge Zello, SIP/PSTN, MCPTT (3GPP), and Orion platforms — mix your existing infrastructure into Dialog PTT groups.
Per-session RTT, jitter, and packet loss reported every 25 seconds — visible in the portal and the dispatcher console. Know the network health of every device.
Every broadcast, alarm, and location update is scoped to the originating organisation. Cross-tenant data exposure is architecturally impossible.
Whether you're running a small field crew or a large dispatch operation, we'll get you set up with a server, licences, and support. Get in touch and we'll walk you through it.
